It is with great sadness that I announce that Ms. Susie’s will be closing as of January 29, 2021. The COVID19 pandemic just took too much from us and we have accepted that we need to close this chapter. Thank you for trusting us with your beloved, little ones, we loved every minute. It was an honor.
We are selling the dwelling and land that housed Ms. Susie’s Learning Center. Laurie Neiman of ReMax is our realtor: (727)385-0877. It is currently zoned for a school, but it could be converted and rezoned back to a single family home.
We are a licensed day care provider for children ages 1 to 5, Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. We are located right across the street from Dunedin Highland Middle School and Dunedin Elementary, next to Walgreens at 63 Patricia Avenue, Dunedin, FL 34698. Our phone number is (727)386-4108.
We utilize state-approved curricula, “Beyond Cribs and Rattles” for our 2 year olds, and “Beyond Centers and Circle Time” for our 3 to 5 year olds. It is an exciting,, practical, play-based approach.
We offer free VPK from 9am – 12noon.
Wrap around care is available for an additional charge.

We are a safe, structured, licensed day care provider for children ages 1 to 5 committed to preparing children for success in kindergarten and beyond. Being a little smaller than our competitors, our preschool can provide unmatched, individualized child care and instruction. Our bright, warm pre-school is kept spotlessly clean on a daily basis.
Your children will be prepared for social as well as academic success. Studies have also shown that older siblings who developed friendships before their younger siblings were born have better relationships with their younger siblings (Bronson and Merriman 2009, Nurture Shock, pgs. 128-130). Those friendships are nurtured during consistent, daily childcare settings such as ours.
We use redirection and time out in our positive approach to discipline. If there are any concerns, we discuss them with the parent right away. We consider parents team members at our pre school.
Our daycare center is located minutes from Clearwater, Palm Harbor, Ozona and Tarpon Springs. Students also come from as far away as Oldsmar and Belleair.
We create a wide variety of seasonal activities like waterplay in the summer, Valentines snacks and card exchanges to name just a few. We also have birthday celebrations for every child. During the fall a librarian from Dunedin Public Library visits once a month for a story time (this is in addition to our usual twice daily story time). We also offer a variety of optional, fee-based activities.
